What Remains
2018 - 2020An abandoned school, an empty living room, and a silent Chinatown, have become the common sight of everyday.
What Remains is a long-term project that looks at the loneliness that was faced by elderly ethnic Chinese women starting from Kolkata. In a place where the small Chinese community is at risk of being lost due to mass migration. It brings together photograph of places of significance and family album. Weaving the present moment with memory of spouse, children, and families who are no longer there.
