Fransisca Angela (b. Indonesia) is a photographer and visual artist, working across film, installation, publishing, and collective programming. Her practice is rooted in lived experience and shaped by intergenerational perspectives. She engages with both endorsed and erased histories, exploring how memory is transmitted through language, material processes, oral traditions, and everyday rituals. Through personal narratives, she invites people to experience life's fragments, allowing them to reimagine a new reality that stands in for what is often overlooked or forgotten. Central to her practice is creating spaces for collective reflection through reading and performance. Fransisca initiated Terang Press in 2026 as part of her publishing practice and to amplify works of artists and writers within Asian diaspora communities.

Alongside her artistic practice, she works professionally as a photographer, undertaking editorial and commissioned projects for brands, publications, and organizations worldwide.
