Sukasantai Farmstay

We all want quiet
We all want beauty
We all need space;
unless we have it
we cannot reach that sense of quiet
in which whispers of better things come to us gently.

Responding to Octavia Hill’s poem, which resonates deeply with Sukasantai Farmstay. We developed a series of short videos and photography to bring the experience closely.

Sukasantai Farmstay was opened in 2019 by a mother and daughter from Jakarta who is passionate about growing organic vegetables for good health and believe in responsible agriculture as a form of environmental stewardship. 


For Sukasantai, I developed and produced a series of six short videos, each exploring a different aspect of the farmstay and the values behind it. Rather than simply promoting it as a place to stay, I approached the series as a way of defining and communicating the brand through stories—bringing forward the land, food, people, experiences, and moments of stillness that make Sukasantai unique.

I focused the series around three ideas: 
Rest, Recharge, and Gather

Through intimate imagery and storytelling, the videos bring these different sides of the farmstay closer, creating a portrait of Sukasantai as a place where living, growing, resting, and coming together are part of the experience.
